Joe, an animated emoticon encounters a static emoticon for the first time and doesn't know what to make of it! 
Grrr, I'm so bad with animation.. was a bit tricky getting the different timing for the different speeds of different frames.

Vision Originality
Technique ImpactHa, this is so interesting! The idea is clever and original, and just makes such a weird but neat little take on something as simple as dA smileys. I also like how you put it together in a comic format---it would be good as a full animation or something too, but this takes your already-quirky idea and gives it another level of oddness and creativity.
